Your First Mini Rippers Race
New to racing? You are in the right place. Mini Rippers is built to help young riders and families have a safe, fun first race experience.
1. Pick the Right Class
Race age is your rider’s age on January 1 of the current year. Starter classes are for riders in their first year racing that bike. If you are unsure where an off-brand bike belongs, contact Mini Rippers before registering.
2. Register Online
Mini Rippers registration is completed online. Choose the correct class and complete the Mini Rippers waiver before race day.
3. Complete Lake Elsinore Raceway Requirements
Lake Elsinore Raceway gate fees and waiver requirements are separate from Mini Rippers registration. Complete them before arriving.
4. Bring the Right Safety Gear
- Balance Bike: closed-toe shoes and at least a mountain-bike helmet or full-face helmet.
- STACYC: full-face helmet and shoes; goggles recommended.
- PW50 and up: DOT-approved helmet, motorcycle boots, full moto gear and goggles. A chest protector is not required, but is highly recommended.
5. Race Day
Arrive early, listen to officials, follow the flag rules and keep the focus on the kids. Mini Rippers is about confidence, progression, sportsmanship and family fun.
